Cuddle up for an animal-themed feature film, grab a bite from a food truck at Wichita WaterWalk or stroll through hundreds of luxury automobiles at the Midwest's largest car show.

If you've got any animal lovers at home, then Furry Film Friday should definitely be on your Labor Day list of things to do. This event is designed for youngsters in kindergarten through sixth grade, and it's the perfect alternative to a babysitter if you're a parent in need of a Friday night off. Drop off the kids at the Kansas Humane Society at 6 p.m., and they will enjoy pizza, soda and an animal-themed movie. Admission is $20 per child - and don't forget to take advantage of the $10 sibling discount.

Feast on some of Wichita's most popular local fare over Labor Day weekend — while it's on wheels! Food Trucks at the Fountain gets started at 10 a.m. at the Wichita WaterWalk. In addition to a wide selection of popular Wichita area grub, attendees can participate in free yoga workshops and enjoy live music from local artists. Plus - this food truck fair is free to attend!
5th Annual Midwest Super Car Show & Concert
Why not slide a luxury automobile event into your Labor Day weekend plans? The fifth annual Super Car Show & Concert is the largest car show coming through the Midwest in 2017. Attendees can peruse over 300 of America's slickest rides, with several interactive displays available for the little ones to enjoy. In addition to the countless exotic cars, there will be a bumping concert featuring artist Paul Wall. Admission packages for the car show range from $20-$50.
