On May 17, 2021, at 5:34 P.M., deputies were dispatched to a vehicle injury accident involving a child at a residence in the 2400 block of south 183rd Street West. During the investigation deputies learned a GMC Sierra truck driven by a 40 year old male struck a 3 year old male in the driveway of the residence.

The child, Kannon Agnew of Goddard, died at the scene.
