Missing KY Officer Found Dead In Flooded Field
The officer was reported missing Friday night.
HICKMAN, KY — The body of a Kentucky police officer was recovered Saturday morning after he was reported missing in a flooded field Friday night.
Kentucky State Police said the body of Hickman police officer Rodney S. Smith, 45, of Boaz was recovered from the field around 5 a.m. in Hickman city. The police cruiser the officer was driving was also recovered.
Officer Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
