Check out where to watch the total solar eclipse if you're in Kentucky on Aug. 21.

Kentucky is full of fantastic places to observe the upcoming solar eclipse. You can bust out the banjo at Burdoc Farms, dive deep at the Pennroyal Scuba Center or pour one out at the MB Roland Boubon Distillery.
Here are three spots across the state that are perfect for watching the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse:
#1 Bluegrass Bash at Burdoc - What good would the impending solar eclipse be without a soundtrack? Experience this natural phenomenon with a back- country bluegrass setting the stage at scenic Burdoc Farms. If you don't want the party to stop, the farm has campsites available for rental. Tickets for the bash start at $30, and the gates open at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 18.

#2 Pennroyal Scuba Center - Trade the beer goggles for actual goggles at the Pennroyal Scuba Center. Submersion is the name of the game for this solar eclipse viewing party — attendees will be completely underwater. Lunch is provided, and participants are encouraged to "rough it" overnight at one of the nearby campgrounds. You can reserve a campsite online. Tickets for the underwater viewing are $30.
#3 MB Roland Bourbon Eclipse Experience - Get buzzed on bourbon while the world goes momentarily blind at MB Roland Distillery. This authentic Kentucky alehouse is famous for its single-barrel bourbon, and its eclipse viewing party comes complete with food trucks, live music and, you guessed it: whiskey. You can purchase day passes online. Tickets start at $5.
