Allstate employees earn $5,000 grant for American Cancer Society
The Allstate Foundation grant to support nonprofit's work to save lives from breast cancer
Five Allstate agency owners and licensed sales professionals from the Fayette-Lexington area recently came together to secure a $5,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands® grant to benefit the American Cancer Society. The grant will support the nonprofit organization’s efforts to save lives from breast cancer.
The agency owners and licensed sales professionals each earned $1,000 for The American Cancer Society by walking as a team in a Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event held on Oct. 15 at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. The American Cancer Society will use the $5,000 grant to further its mission to celebrate survivors and raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research, support services and early detection.
The participating Allstate agency owners and licensed sales professionals are among thousands of agency owners and financial specialists around the country working to strengthen communities by volunteering their time to support the causes they care about most.
