Church of God Testifies God the Mother is in the Bible

Today, members of the World Mission Society Church of God in nearly 35 countries in North, Central, and South America, launched a two-week awareness campaign about the existence of the female image of God (also referred to as God the Mother or Heavenly Mother) in the Bible. This is taking place during the biblical Feast of Tabernacles.

Church of God members preaching about God the Mother have been accused of human trafficking, all cases of which have been dismissed. The Church is taking a proactive stance to inform the public that these rumors are false. Members will be openly explaining verses in the Bible that attest to the existence of both God the Father and God the Mother.

“Many people don’t realize that God the Mother is referenced from Genesis to Revelation—literally from the beginning of the end of the Bible—so we’re carrying out this movement to share this with everyone,” said Victor Lozada, a representative of the Church of God. “Clearly introducing who we are, where we’re from, what we’re doing, and giving people the option of whether they would like to study are not actions of human traffickers. These false accusations are consuming law enforcement resources that could be used to address real human trafficking. Our goal during this movement is spread Mother’s love throughout all of the Western Hemisphere.”

From the first page of Genesis, God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness,” which means God has a plural image. The Bible explains that God’s plural image is male and female. During the preaching festival, you will see Church of God members paneling in high-traffic areas, speaking to people in public spaces, and engaging the community at large.

Besides its belief in God the Mother, the Church of God is also known for its commitment to volunteerism. Church of God volunteers organize dozens of community service events on a local and global scale throughout the year. This year, President Donald Trump presented the Church with the President’s Call to Service Award for its work in communities throughout the United States.
