This week, voters will have the chance to vote early in the June 23rd primary, according to the Jefferson County Election Center. The Louisville Metro Council is trying to get out the word to ensure everyone has the chance to vote if they are not using an absentee ballot.

“This is an unusual primary and there has been some confusion about when in person voting will take place. Everyone should be aware they have the chance to vote all this week and next Monday leading up to the primary,” says Metro Council President David James (D-6). “The Kentucky Fair and Expo Center is the only proposed location for in person voting. Please take advantage of this week to ensure you vote.”
