Louisville Parks And Recreation Initiates 'Paws In The Parks' Dog Photo Contest For Winter 2020
The photo contest will feature dogs dressed in their holiday best, pictured at their favorite local park.

Paws In The Parks is an opportunity for the public to engage in a fun, social-distance and friendly virtual photo contest featuring their beloved dog. The photo contest will feature dogs dressed in their holiday best, pictured at their favorite local park. The “ulti-mutt” winner will display a mixture of cuteness and happiness, while also sporting a leash in a local park!
Send photo submissions to parks@louisvilleky.gov.The playing field will be narrowed down to 10 dogs. From there, people will vote for the dog they believe shows the most “howl-iday” spirit on the Louisville Parks and Recreation Facebook page. The dog that gets the most likes/loves will be declared the winner.
The lucky winner will be awarded a gift package from Feeders Supply and additional prizes from Louisville Parks and Recreation and other sponsors. Timeline

- Friday, Dec. 4 – Sunday, Dec. 13 – Submissions accepted at parks@louisvilleky.gov
- Monday, Dec. 14 – Submissions to parks@louisvilleky.gov are closed.
- Tuesday, Dec. 15 – 10 Finalists announced, voting begins.
- Monday, Dec. 21 – Voting closes.
- Tuesday, Dec. 22 –Winner is announced! The Pup-arazzi is informed.
