The rainy weather during the Kentucky Derby 2019 may have cramped the style for many of the racers, but was not enough to stop the over-the-top fashion that has become synonymous with the annual event.

Amidst the ponchos and rubber rain boots that filled Louisville's Churchill Downs this past Saturday, May 4, was scores of larger-than-life hats and brightly colored matching suits. With sunglasses and mint julep drinks at every turn, the rain didn't dampen the spirits of the large crowed and was no where near as bad as last year's rainiest derby of all time.
