Public Input Sought On Access To Dixie Highway
Louisville Metro Public Works will host its second public open house on November 11th to present the Dixie Highway Bus Rapid Transit Study.
Louisville Metro Public Works will host its second public open house on Monday, November 11th to present the Dixie Highway Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Access Planning Study and collect public input on the preliminary planning for access from the four corridors listed below. This project is the next phase of implementing the New Dixie Highway that was funded by a 2015 TIGER Grant from the USDOT. The New Dixie Highway project improves safety, mobility and aesthetics for the corridor.
- Valley Station Road from Dixie Highway to Stonestreet Road
- Rockford Lane from Dixie Highway to Cane Run Road
- Gagel Avenue from Dixie Highway to Manslick Road
- Crums Lane from Cane Run Road to Manslick Road
