Tom Jurich, University Of Louisville Athletic Director, Out Amid NCAA Bribery Probe
The university's Board of Trustees voted 10-3 on Wednesday to fire him following two decades as the school's athletic director.

LOUISVILLE, KY — Louisville athletic director Tom Jurich was fired Wednesday amid a nationwide federal bribery investigation of college basketball.
Jurich, 61, was placed on paid administrative Sept. 27 by interim university President Greg Postel. The university's Board of Trustees voted 10-3 on Wednesday to fire him following two decades as the school's athletic director.
Jurich shepherded Louisville's 2014 entry into the Atlantic Coast Conference. He also oversaw facility upgrades and witnessed numerous sports thrive under coaches he hired.
