Improving A Section Of Bridge Street On Paducah’s Southside

Traffic will remain open in both directions; however, a lane restriction will be enforced where crews are working.

On Monday, February 8, the contractor working for the City of Paducah, Harper Construction, will begin the rehabilitation of a quarter-mile section of Bridge Street located on Paducah’s southside. Bridge Street will be improved from Irvin Cobb Drive to Hays Avenue

This first phase of the project will last approximately 90 days. The scope of work includes sidewalk and curb and gutter replacement, the addition of accessible ramps, entrance reconstructions to properties, and storm sewer upgrades. Later this year, Jim Smith Contracting will mill and pave the roadway.

Please use caution, and watch for the work crews and traffic control devices. Traffic will remain open in both directions; however, a lane restriction will be enforced where crews are working.
