Temporary Closure Of Compost Facility In Paducah For April 26-27

Compost and wood chips are available for purchase by the bucket load. An approximately two-yard bucket load of compost costs $20.

Due to an unexpected equipment issue, the City of Paducah Compost Facility located at 1560 North 8th Street will be closed to the public today and tomorrow (April 26-27).

The Facility is operated by the Public Works Department. The regular operating schedule for the Compost Facility is Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Facility accepts brush, leaves, and yard debris from Paducah residents at no charge. Compost and wood chips are available for purchase by the bucket load. An approximately two-yard bucket load of compost costs $20.
