Baton Rouge Rental Assistance Program Application Assistance Available On March 27

Assistance will be available from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2021, at the following library branches.

BATON ROUGE, La. — The Office of Community Development will provide assistance to residents with limited access to technology who wish to apply to the East Baton Rouge Parish Emergency Rental Assistance Program. OCD will assist with the online application process, scanning and uploading necessary documentation, and provide internet access. This application is for renters who reside within the parish.

Required documents include proof of income such as 2020 W-2, pay stubs, or unemployment statements; proof of occupancy, such as a bill; copy of lease or rental agreement; and photo ID. Also, proof of housing instability, such as an eviction notice or past-due bill, is required. See the full list here.

Assistance will be available from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2021, at the following library branches. Appointments are not required, but residents are encouraged to call or text 225-529-0504 to reserve a time for application assistance.
