The Revenue Budget dataset shows City-Parish income sources such as sales taxes, license fees, and bond sales. The Expense Budget dataset provides a look at how each department’s funds are allocated, including categories such as supplies, contractual services, and capital improvements. It tracks how much of a line item’s budget has been spent in a given month and so far this fiscal year.

The datasets’ information is sourced from the Finance Department; they comprise records dating back to 2018. Their data drives the Open Budget BR application, which gives detailed visualizations of how the City-Parish’s resources are allocated.
