Remington College partners with Grammy-nominated producer

Beat Tour coming to Lafayette May 17 - 18

If you’ve ever heard a beat on the radio that made you stop and listen and you’ve wondered if you could do that—this is your chance.

Remington College and Grammy-nominated producer Wyshmaster are bringing their Beat Tour to Lafayette from May 17 - 18, 2019. The groundbreaking program consists of several classes designed to expose students to the basics of beat making, from creating to marketing and selling beats.

“At Remington College, we want to help students get a hands-on experience in a variety of fields, and that includes creative industries,” said Remington College President Pam Bell. “We’re always thinking of ways to expose our students to experts in their fields, and working with Wyshmaster is an incredible opportunity.”

“I’ve had a successful career in this competitive industry, and I’m thankful,” Cherrington said. “Now, I want to give back and show the next generation of beat makers how to make music and do what they’re passionate about.”
