Rebecca Armstrong-English Named Alumni Relations Director At Dillard University

Rebecca Armstrong-English ‘04 has been named the director of the Office of Alumni Relations at Dillard University.

A people-centric leader, Armstrong-English graduated from Dillard in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication.

After graduating, Armstrong-English gained extensive work experience in the television, entertainment, and non-profit industries.

The St. Louis, Missouri native held key roles in the education field that focused on students and families having access to high-quality education.

Most recently, Armstrong-English help found a middle school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She served as the founding director of operations. In the role, Armstrong-English was responsible for human resources, finances, family outreach, and vendor relations with direct responsibility for a $1.3 million annual budget and a staff of 20 team members.

“I'm pleased to welcome Rebecca back to her Dillard home,” Adrian Guy Anderson, assistant vice president of Development and Alumni Relations shared. “I do not doubt that she will be a value add to alumni programming and offer new and exciting perspectives about alumni engagement.”

This is Armstrong-English’s second tour at Dillard. She previously worked for the University's Enrollment Management and Alumni Relations divisions.

Armstrong-English has a Master of Liberal Arts and a paralegal certificate from Tulane University and a Master of Business Administration from Capella University.

Armstrong-English is a proud member of the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
