George H.W. Bush Hospitalized For Low Blood Pressure, Fatigue
The former president will likely have to stay in the hospital for a few days, family spokesman Jim McGrath tweeted early Sunday.

BIDDEFORD, ME — Former President George H.W. Bush has been hospitalized in Maine after experiencing low blood pressure and fatigue, a spokesman for the family tweeted Sunday. Bush, the nation's 41st president who served one term from 1989 to 1993, was taken to Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford, Maine, Sunday, wrote spokesman Jim McGrath.
"He will likely remain there for a few days for observation," the tweet said. "The former president is awake and alert, and not in any discomfort."
A spokeswoman for the hospital told The Associated Press that all information would be released by the Bush family.

The elder Bush had reportedly been spending his summer at the family's compound in Kennebunkport. On Saturday, he had attended a pancake breakfast at a local American Legion.
Barbara Bush, George's wife of 73 years, died last month and he had to be hospitalized for an infection that spread to his blood the day after her funeral. George H.W. Bush remained hospitalized in Houston for nearly two weeks.
