Augusta Heroin Dealer Arrested: Police
Michael Fry, of Augusta, was arrested during a drug raid, police said.
AUGUSTA, ME — An Augusta man was recently arrested for heroin trafficking during a police raid, according to authorities. Michael Fry, 47, was arrested Wednesday and charged with three counts of drug trafficking.
Augusta police and officers with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency raided Fry's Newland Avenue residence following a months-long investigation, according to Augusta Deputy police Chief Jared Mills. About $1,000 worth of heroin was found in Fry's residence, Mills said.
Fry was held on $10,000 bail following his arrest.

"This investigation continues to highlight our department’s ability to remove illegal drugs from our city with the help of our great citizens who are simply not going to stand for this type of behavior," Mills said in a statement.
Mills said anyone with information about illegal drug activity in Augusta should contact police at 207-626-2370.
