Augusta Stabbing: Police Seek Suspect
Augusta police are asking the public's help finding a Stewart Lane stabbing suspect.

AUGUSTA, ME — Someone was stabbed in Augusta Sunday and police are asking the public's help identifying the suspect. The stabbing happened on Stewart Street shortly before 6 p.m., police said. The victim was transported to the Alfond Center for Health with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.

The suspect was described as a white man in his 40s or 50s. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black pants, a black baseball cap and sandals with white socks, according to Augusta police Detective Sergeant Jason Cote. Anyone with information is asked to contact Augusta police at 207-626- 2370.
