This grant-funded position is for the 2021-2022 school year.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned.

*Develop lesson plans and instructional materials necessary to provide individualized and small group academic and social-emotional instruction appropriate for the needs of students.

*Establish and maintain standards of student behavior to achieve an effective learning environment.

*Identify student needs and make appropriate referrals, develop strategies for individual education plans, work with the assistance of district specialists as appropriate.

*Provide individualized and small group instruction; adapt the curriculum to the needs of students.

*Facilitate school-based RTI team meetings and other meetings requested by principal. Meet with administration and school counselor on a regular basis.

*Organize and maintain school RTI paperwork.

*Support and collaborate with classroom teachers on student data and related RTI paperwork.

*Assess and evaluate the accomplishments of students’ academic and social growth and keep appropriate records; provide progress reports as requested.

*Provide training to staff on assessments, interventions, reviewing data or other appropriate content related to the position.

*Communicate with parents, colleagues and administration.
