SUMMARY: To strengthen and facilitate the educational process by improving and protecting the health status of children. The major focus of school nursing services, both direct and indirect, is the prevention of disability and the early detection and correction of health problems.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • State of Maine School Nurse Certification
• BS Degree
• State of Maine Professional Nursing License
• Three [3] years experience as a professional Registered Nurse

START DATE: August 2021

SALARY: $39,360.00 [BA step 1] - $72,553.68 [MA+15 step 22] based on nursing experience and pro-rated from date of hire
