Maine Police Cruiser Crash Suspect Wanted: Police
Maine State Police said Michael Irving rammed a police cruiser during a traffic stop and fled the scene.
LYMAN, ME — Maine State Police are asking the public's help finding a suspect who rammed a police cruiser during a traffic stop in April. Michael Irving, 49, is a transient who frequents Old Orchard Beach, police said. He is wanted for reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, aggravated criminal mischief and eluding a police officer.

The incident happened April 23 in Lyman after a state trooper pulled over Irving's vehicle for an inspection sticker violation, police said.

"As the trooper was sitting in his cruiser to check on Irving’s identification, Irving put his vehicle in reverse, rammed the cruiser and then drove away, later abandoning it about a half mile away," State Police said in a statement.
Irving is 5 feet, 11 inches and weighs 150 pounds. He had short brown hair and hazel eyes. Anyone with information is asked to contact State Police at 207-657-3030.
