'Sexual Favors' Dispute Leads To Clinton Man's Arrest: Police

Maine State Police said Benjamin Mcintosh was arrested in Clinton Sunday.

AUGUSTA, ME — A Clinton man was arrested Sunday on drug charges following a dispute over "sexual favors," according to police. Benjamin Mcintosh, 30, was out on bail at the time of his arrest, police said. The alleged dispute happened in Clinton on Diamond Avenue.

Police said a witness reported Mcintosh and a woman were arguing about drugs. Mcintosh told police the woman was "highly impaired" and had shown up at his home wanting "sexual favors." He said he kicked her out.

As Mcintosh was out on bail for an unrelated case, he was subject to a search, police said. Officers found oxycodone pills, klonopin, trazodone and alcohol in the residence, police said. Mcintosh was charged with drug possession and violating probation.
