Snow on Thanksgiving for Augusta: Hourly Forecast

AUGUSTA, ME — Augusta will get dusted with snow on Thanksgiving Thursday night, according to the latest forecasts. Thanksgiving morning and afternoon will be overcast, with temperatures in the 30s through 6 p.m. Light snow will dust the city from about 7 p.m. through early Friday. Things will turn to rain Friday morning and there will be an extended wintry mix through Sunday, creating treacherous driving conditions.

State police urged drivers to use caution on the roadways. Since 2012, there have been at least four deaths on Maine roads each Thanksgiving weekend, police said.
