T-Storm Alert for Augusta

AUGUSTA, ME — Much-needed rain is on the way for Augusta Wednesday — and so are some possible thunderstorms.

The heaviest rain and thunderstorm risk will be between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., according to the National Weather Service, which issued a hazardous weather alert.

Things will clear up Thursday as temperatures dive to the low 50s at night.
