Man Rescued From 40-Foot Fuel Tank In Perryman: Officials
One person was hospitalized after a rescue call at the Perryman Generating Station, Harford County Fire and EMS reported.

PERRYMAN, MD — Technical rescuers removed a man from a 40-foot fuel tank in Harford County Thursday morning, officials reported. He was taken to the hospital, according to authorities.
At 11 a.m., first responders were dispatched to the 900 block of Chelsea Road in Perryman, where a man was on top of a fuel tank at the Perryman Generating Station, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
A Maryland State Police helicopter was called to assist, Gardiner said.

As of 11:40 a.m., the man had been rescued from the top of the tank and was being taken to the hospital, according to Gardiner.
Crews were clearing the scene by 11:50 a.m., he said.

According to Gardiner, the incident was not classified as an industrial accident.
