Aberdeen Man Found 9 Months After Being Reported Missing: Police

Police said a man reported missing in November in Aberdeen has been located.

ABERDEEN, MD — A man who disappeared in November 2017 has been found, according to the Aberdeen Police Department. William Allen Legg was located on Tuesday, Aug. 28, police reported.

"Mr. Legg is reported to be well," police said in a statement.

Legg was described as a 53-year-old white man who is 5 feet 11 inches and weighs 420 pounds. He had last been seen when an associate went to check on him.

The Aberdeen Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division found Legg, who had been missing since. Nov. 16, 2017.

"We want to thank our citizens and media partners for continuously sharing Mr. Legg’s picture," police said.
