ABERDEEN, MD – Aberdeen residents may hear noises from training exercises being conducted at the Aberdeen Proving Ground this week.

Daytime and nighttime firing is scheduled for Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Aberdeen Proving Ground is an Army installation recognized as one of the world's most important research and development, testing and evaluation facilities.

According to officials, the operations are not hazardous to residents in the surrounding communities and are an important part of ensuring service members are prepared.
