Fire In Aberdeen Caused $20K In Damage: Investigators
A duplex fire in Aberdeen remains under investigation.

ABERDEEN, MD — A house fire in Aberdeen is under investigation. The duplex in the 400 block of Dorsey Street sustained about $20,000 in damage, according to the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
Investigators said a passerby discovered the blaze at 8:36 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17.
The Aberdeen Fire Department was first at the scene, according to the Susquehanna Hose Company, which also responded. When crews arrived, crews said there was fire showing in front of the two-story duplex.

About 25 firefighters responded and brought the blaze under control within 30 minutes, according to the fire marshal.
The fire started in the first-floor living room, investigators reported, but the cause of the fire remained under investigation as of Sunday night.

Nobody was injured, according to the fire marshal.
