​Gary L. Gerdom, 69, Of Aberdeen

Gary L. Gerdom of Aberdeen died Thursday, Nov. 16, at Christiana Hospital. He was 69.

Born in Havre de Grace, he was the son of the late Milton and Viola (Whisner) Gerdom.

Mr. Gerdom was the facility manager at Aberdeen Proving Ground. He loved playing golf and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion.

He is survived by his children, Richard Gerdom of Rising Sun and Jennifer Standorf and her husband John of White Marsh; brother, Bruce Gerdom of Aberdeen; grandchildren, Taryn Gerdom and Jacqueline Standorf. He is also survived by former wife, Susan “Trink” Gerdom.

A visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 27, at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home from 1-3 p.m. and 5-6:30 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 6:30 p.m.
