Harford County Public Schools Make Weekend Changes
Schools were already closed on Friday, and the county is facing an impending snow storm.
Harford County Public Schools’ students had the day off on Friday due to extremely cold temperatures and dangerous conditions, but the impending snow storm has caused changes to the public schools’ weekend activities as well.
Because of the winter storm and in order for facilities management staff to prepare the school buildings for classes on Monday, all weekend activities for Harford County Public Schools have been cancelled.
The National Weather Service predicts a 90 percent chance of precipitation on Saturday in Bel Air with new snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches.
