Kevin Duane Miller, 53, Past Aberdeen Softball Commissioner
Miller was on the Aberdeen Planning and Zoning Commission, served as a host dad for the Aberdeen IronBirds, coached recreational softball.

Kevin Duane Miller, of Aberdeen, passed away on Sept. 28, 2016. He was 53.
Mr. Miller was born in Havre de Grace to the late Lee Austin Miller and Mary Ann Wilson Miller. He was the devoted husband of 28 years to LuAnne Kern Miller, loving father of Amelia Marie Miller, and dear brother of Lee Austin Miller Jr., of Havre de Grace, Cheryl Darlene Foster of Aberdeen, and the late John Lewis Miller and Leeanne Ranieri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Mr. Miller was a member of the Aberdeen Lions Club and the Sons of the American Legion Post 47. When he was younger he attended and served as an altar boy at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. He served on the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Aberdeen and was a Past-Commissioner and Coach for Aberdeen Parks and Recreation Softball. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and crabber. He also loved shooting sporting clays. He was a Host-Dad for the Aberdeen Ironbirds. Mr. Miller could always be counted on for a good joke and making people laugh.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, Maryland.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. The Reverend John McIntyre will officiate. Interment will be held at Angel Hill Cemetery.
