Lewis Lane Players Present "It's a Wonderful Life" on December 10
For one performance only, come see the live radio play version of a Christmas classic.

Imagine a time before television was king and radio ruled the airwaves. It was an age when everyone tuned in to hear Amos and Andy, The Lone Ranger or The Shadow.
On December 10, 2016 at 5:30 pm, for the third consecutive year the Lewis Lane Players will offer a unique opportunity to relive this time gone by and be part of the "studio audience" for a live radio play adaptation of a Christmas classic, "It's a Wonderful Life! A Live Radio Play."George Bailey grew up a wide-eyed dreamer. He had grand plans to travel the world and build great things. But one circumstance after another kept pulling him back to the small town of his childhood, Bedford Falls.
George constantly puts others before himself, but when his self-sacrificing lifestyle causes everything around him to collapse, he finds himself standing on a bridge contemplating ending his own life. Only the intervention of Angel Second Class Clarence Oddbody, who shows George what the world would be like if he had never been born, makes George realize just what a wonderful life he has.
Actors with the Lewis Lane Players portray these classic roles and created sound effects that stimulate the imagination right before the eyes and ears of our "studio audience," just like they were in the radio shows of the 20s, 30s and 40s.
The show will be held at the Lewis Lane Players' home "black box" theater, "Theater 351," inside the Havre de Grace Activity Center. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for children (0-11) and seniors (55+) and may be purchased at www.hdgdramatroop.com. Any questions can be directed to hdgdrama@yahoo.com or (443)987-4395.
