Samantha Nicole Petrusch, 18, of Aberdeen, passed away on May 23, 2017 at her home. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, she was the daughter of Tamas Szabo of Frederick and Diane Lynn (Petrusch) Magill and of Aberdeen. She was a student of both Joppatowne and Aberdeen High Schools. Always smiling, she enjoyed spending time with her boyfriend Anthony. She also enjoyed reading and writing, loved music and watching the '90s sitcoms.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Petrusch is survived by her siblings Barry Magill III, Chris Magill, Lukas Szabo, Christian Szabo, Brittany and Sara; fiancé, Anthony I. Stokes of Joppatowne; stepmother, Christine Szabo; stepfather and wife, Barry and Melissa Magill; grandparents, Deborah S. Petrusch of Edgewood, Judith Szabo of Silver Spring; Kathy Wilson of Pennsylvania; step-grandparent, William Griffin; great-grandparent, Norma Ewing; uncle, Dave Petrusch of Aberdeen; cousin, Cheyenne Petrusch of California; great aunt and uncle, Pat and Scott Wise; and family friends, Kim Alicia Stokes and Deangelo Edward Stokes.

She was preceded in death by her son, Sabastian George Stokes; her grandparents, George Godfrey Petrusch Jr. and Laszo Szabo; and great-grandfather, Melvin J. Ewing.

Visitation: 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, and 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31; McComas Funeral Home, Abingdon, 1317 Cokesbury Rd., Abingdon, MD US 21009

A service will be held at 10 a.m. at McComas Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 31, at 1317 Cokesbury Rd., Abingdon, MD US 21009.
