MARYLAND — As 2018 comes to a close, some of the highlights for us involve food. The good folks at The Daily Meal website, who analyze all things related to dining and drinking, have been using their tastebuds all year to determine the best places to get everything from pancakes to pizza.
They've compiled their wisdom into the annual guide to the best food and drink in each state across the country.
Maryland "has a lot to offer in terms of flavor and experience," according to The Daily Meal, which noted it also has a "crazy dessert scene." That's why its list of 39 must-visit spots for Maryland's tastiest eats includes a healthy serving of sweets, such as a chocolatier and cupcakery.
