MD Heroes: Help Patch Recognize Those Making A Difference
Patch is partnering with Ring to honor Local Heroes in your Maryland community. Here's how you can help.

MARYLAND — The adage "not all heroes wear capes" is one that's true now more than ever as we continue to deal with the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. We want to hear about the "heroes" who are helping your Maryland community get through these changing times.
Patch has partnered with Ring to shine a spotlight on the neighborhood heroes who are making a difference in their communities, whether it's the clerk at your local grocery store who went above and beyond to help you, the nurse who tended a sick family member or the stranger who showed you a moment of kindness.
We've already told the stories of a hospital worker who cleans patient rooms despite personal risk, an employee at a care center who has not taken a day off from work since the pandemic began, and a mask-making effort that donates face coverings to first responders and any group that deals with the public.
