Police Investigate 'Corrupt' Stickers On Campaign Signs
Maryland State Police said an investigation is underway after dozens of campaign signs were vandalized on the Eastern Shore.

EASTON, MD — State troopers on the Eastern Shore are investigating a case of campaign sign vandalism. Police said that more than 30 signs around Caroline County have been vandalized with stickers that say "corrupt."
The "corrupt" stickers were placed on signs promoting Caroline County Circuit Court Judge Jonathan Newell, according to Maryland State Police.
Newell, a former Caroline County state's attorney appointed to the Circuit Court by Gov. Larry Hogan in 2016, said that many of his signs had been stolen or vandalized over the course of the campaign but this one was a bit different.
