2 Arrested in Vehicle Break-Ins

Annapolis police also reported a weekend attempted burglary.

Annapolis police arrested two men early Friday in vehicle break-ins.

At 3:15 a.m. in the 900 block of Breakwater Drive, someone reported seeing two people attempting to break into vehicles. An officer arrived and saw the pair enter an unlocked vehicle, according to police.

Charles Jackson, 20, of Temple Hills was charged with rogue and vagabond, theft less than $1,000 and trespassing. Kyle Murray, 20, of Annapolis was charged with rogue and vagabond and trespassing. Both were released by a district court commissioner, according to police.

In a separate incident, police reported an attempted burglary in the 200 block of Prince George Street. The incident happened between 3 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday. Items were moved in a home's fenced-in backyard and tool marks were found on a lock to the back door, but the intruder did not gain entry, according to police.
