4 Boaters Rescued After Crash Near Bay Bridge: Report
A group of Pasadena boaters saved four men after their vessel overturned near the Bay Bridge, a report said.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — A group of Pasadena boaters helped save four men after their vessel overturned on the night of May 6, the Capital Gazette reported. Journalist Danielle Ohl noted that the incident happened after two boats collided near the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
Ohl added that two of the stranded victims stood on top of their capsized boat. A third hung onto the hull while the fourth was stuck in the cabin, she explained.
The Capital mentioned that a diver from the Maryland Department Natural Resources Police rescued the trapped man. Ohl wrote that the Maryland State Police flew him to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, and doctors released him the next day.
