Adult Music Camps Planned For This Summer Across The Country
The Annapolis-based Encore Creativity for Older Adults is hosting four adult music camps in Ohio, Colorado, New York and Maryland.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — Older adults from across Maryland have the opportunity to attend "camp" at four Encore Summer Institutes held at Washington College in Chestertown, Md., the famed Chautauqua Institution in Chautauqua, N.Y., Cleveland, Ohio, and the Colorado Rockies.
Encore Creativity for Older Adults, America’s largest and fastest-growing choral organization for adults over 55, hosts the camps that consist of five or six days brimming with yoga and movement classes, rehearsals, sight reading and vocal technique workshops. There also will be live musical performances by well-known artists. There will be a final concert when camp is over.
Dates for Encore’s 2020 summer programs are June 21 - 25 at Washington College; July 19 -23 in Fort Collins; Aug. 9 to 14 in Cleveland; and Aug. 30 – Sept. 4 at Chautauqua Institution.
