Annapolis Celebrates National Travel, Tourism Week

VisitAnnapolis offers discount cards for local business to residents and visitors through May 7.

ANNAPOLIS, MD–As part of National Travel and Tourism Week, which ends Saturday, supporters were out in force to help Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County celebrate National Travel and Tourism Day with a rally at Market House in Annapolis on May 3.

Interested individuals are invited to stop by VAAAC’s 26 West Street Visitors Center and City Dock Information Booth to pick up discount cards redeemable at select businesses through May 7.

They’ll also receive “I am creating #MyAnnapolisMoment” stickers and be encouraged to post images of their favorite Annapolis memories on Instagram.

Six million individuals spend $3.4 billion annually while visiting Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. The travel and tourism industry employs nearly 30,000 individuals in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County and saves county residents $405 in additional taxes.
