UPDATE 5:30 p.m. Yocelin Ayala, a 12-year-old Annapolis girl who was reported missing Wednesday night, has been found, the city police announced Thursday evening. They released no further details.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — A 12-year-old girl went missing Wednesday night in Annapolis, and the police are asking the public for help in finding her. Yocelin Ayala was last seen at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, in the unit block of Bricin Street, according to the Annapolis police.

Yocelin is described by police as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 90 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black-and-white hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and black-and-white checkered Vans shoes.

"Yocelin is believed to be voluntarily missing, but we are greatly concerned for her welfare due to her age," the police said in a statement.
