Annapolis Murder Suspect Arrested, Glen Burnie Man Killed: Report
Police arrested an Annapolis murder suspect, officials said. Officers accused him of killing a Glen Burnie man in April, the write-up added.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Anne Arundel County Police Department arrested a murder suspect on May 18, an incident report said. Officials accused Israel Thompson of killing 25-year-old Marc Terrell Hill Jr. of Glen Burnie on April 3 in Annapolis.
"This arrest shows the tremendous cooperation between Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Police," Edward Jackson, chief of the Annapolis Police Department, stated in the press release.
Annapolis police explained that they heard word of the shooting around 7:30 p.m. Officers noted that they found Hill injured in the 700 block of Newtowne Drive.

The write-up mentioned that medics flew Hill to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He died soon after, authorities advised. Capital Gazette journalist Lilly Price reported that this was the city's first homicide of the year.
