Anne Arundel Cop Arrested After Howard County Bar Fight: Police
A bar fight in Howard County led to the arrest of an Anne Arundel officer, police said. The corporal is suspended with pay, a report added.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Authorities said they arrested an Anne Arundel County police officer after a Thursday bar fight in Howard County. The fight broke out around 1:49 a.m. and involved multiple people, an incident report noted.
The Howard County Police Department arrested Cpl. A. Salenieks, the press release added. Officials explained that Salenieks faces charges of:
- Second-degree assault
- Resisting arrest
- Disorderly conduct
Salenieks has been with the agency for eight years, the write-up mentioned. The Anne Arundel County Police Department informed that it suspended Salenieks with pay. This is customary for officers who have not yet gone to trial.
