Archbishop Spalding Rock Band Five Seconds to Freedom Win Battle of the Bands
The band earned a professional recording session, radio airtime and a headliner performance later this year at Rams Head On Stage.

A rock quintet from Archbishop Spalding High in Annapolis took home top honors in this weekend's 16th annual Battle of the Bands.
Eleven high school bands from across Anne Arundel County performed in this year's concert-competition at Maryland Hall in Annapolis.Â
- FIRST: Five Seconds to Freedom—Archbishop Spalding High
- SECOND: The Goons—South River High
- THIRD: Brothers Claire—Broadneck High
Their first album, Solar Flares, is due out Feb. 1, according to the band's Facebook page.
