Bay Theatre Company Suspends Operations

The company said it has a loyal client base but is seeking a new long-term home, the Baltimore Sun reports.

The Bay Area Theatre Company held its final show for the forseeable future on Sunday, the Baltimore Sun reported.

Officials from the company, which has operated in the West Garrett Building in Annapolis, said uncertainty over lease agreeements and finances forced them to hold off on selling subscriptions for next season.

Sunday's performance of "The Price" was the company's last show of the season and it is unclear if and when performances will return.
