Demonstration In Annapolis On Tuesday To Cause Traffic Delays
Annapolis Police advises drivers to expect traffic delays and disruptions near City Dock and along Forest Drive due to a demonstration.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — A group has planned a demonstration in Annapolis for Tuesday at 3:50 p.m. in the area of Forest Drive, Chinquapin Road Road and Route 665. Both inbound and outbound Forest Drive will be closed to traffic at 3:30 p.m. The group then plans to gather at 4:30 p.m. at the Kunta Kinte-Alex Haley Memorial at City Dock.
According to the Annapolis Police Department, there may be traffic delays and disruptions in both areas. The department asks that drivers consider using alternate travel routes. Updates will be posted on the police department's Twitter account @AnnapolisPD and on its Facebook page.
