Downtown Robber Caught On Camera: Annapolis Police

This unidentified man is at large following a robbery Tuesday evening at a downtown business, say Annapolis police.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Annapolis police are searching for a man who robbed a downtown business on Tuesday evening. The robbery was reported at a business in the 200 block of West Street, according to a police report.

During the heist, the robber implied that he had a weapon, but none was seen by witnesses, the police said.

Soon after the robbery, the police released an image of an unidentified individual who they say robbed the business. Shot by a surveillance camera, it shows a portly, bearded African American man wearing glasses, a dark-colored jacket with gray sleeves and a dark-colored winter pullover hat with the Dallas Cowboys logo.

If anyone has information on the identity of the man in the image, the police are asking them to call the department's detectives at 410-260-3439.

You also can provide an anonymous tip by calling Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP (756-2587). Callers may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
