FOX 5 To Broadcast From Annapolis

From FOX Television Stations: The public is invited to join the fun withFOX 5 “Good Day DC” Anchors Tucker Barnes, Maureen Umeh, and Steve Chenevey at the Annapolis City Dock (110 Dock Street) from 7 to 11 a.m.

Steve, Maureen, and Tucker will kick off the 7 a.m. hour at the Annapolis City Dock, and Tucker will be joined by Susan Sears, co-owner of Local by Design, to check out some of the work of local artists. Later in the hour, Tucker and Maureen will be joined by representatives from Race Across America, a coast-to-coast bike race that concludes in Annapolis this week. To end the hour, Steve will present FOX 5’s “5 Must Stops” in Annapolis.

At 8 a.m., Tucker will provide a weather update, and then he and Maureen will be joined by the FOX 5 First 5 child of the day. At the bottom of the hour, Steve will host Mayor Mike Pantelides and County Executive Steve Schuh for an interview and a round of trivia. At 8:35, Tucker will report the weather from Iron Rooster, and then he will speak with Kyle Algaze, the restaurant’s owner. At 8:50, Maureen will speak with Angelique Mango, the owner of Way Off the Beaten Path, a local clothing and jewelry store.

In the 9 a.m. hour, Steve, Tucker, and Holly will present FOX 5’s “5 Must Stops” again, and the Good Day DC team will then be joined by Patti Moriarty, a real estate agent from Coldwell Banker, who will present local real estate listings. Next, as a part of the “Tucker Tries It” segment, Tucker will clean the Harbour Queen, an iconic Annapolis boat. At 9:50, Steve will enjoy a taste of Mission BBQ, a local favorite that will deliver delicious barbeque treats to our set by boat.

Steve, Maureen, and Tucker will kick off the 10 a.m. hour on an Annapolis Electric Boat, and then Good Day DC will host Ted Levitt, the owner ofChick & Ruth’s Delly and founder of Faces of Valor USA, for this week’s“Hometown Hero” segment. Next, Tucker will be joined by this week’sJunior Reporter, a 7th grader from St. Mary’s, and at 10:30, FOX 5 will be joined by this week’s “Hometown Team.” Steve, Tucker, & Maureen will finish their trip with a visit from Dry 85 – voted one of the top 40 best whiskey restaurants in America.
